Rionegro opens the doors of the F-AIR 2025 International Aeronautical and Space Fair
The twelfth edition of the most important event in the Colombian aeronautical sector begins today at the José María Córdova International Airport
Rionegro, Antioquia, July 9, 2025. Everything is ready in Rionegro for the F-AIR Colombia 2025, the most important aeronautical showcase in the country and one of the most recognized in Latin America and the world begins from today, July 9 to 13, at the José María Córdova International Airport, in an area of more than 100 thousand square meters, suitable to be the setting for this extensive exhibition of the technological, cultural and commercial aeronautical industry that thousands of visitors will attend aviation experts and lovers from all over the world.
The F-AIR, is organized by the Civil Aeronautics and the Colombian Aerospace Force, with Corferias as logistics operator, in this edition its visitors will be able to see 80 military and civil aircraft in static exhibition, 15 aerial shows, with 178 exhibitors in commercial exhibition, in addition to an academic agenda, which shows the nation's progress in the strategic impact of the space domain, It will also feature a special talk by the guest country, Sweden, with Marcus Wandt, Swedish astronaut, and the conversation with Anna Dellham; the first and only woman to fly a Gripen, among other important interventions by experts in space aeronautical and cyberspace issues, for the commercial and defense sector.
This edition promises to be a meeting space for those who promote the development of civil aviation, technological innovation and regional air integration; consolidating the F-AIR as an exhibition and learning platform, at the service of the country and the future of global aviation.

We want both Colombians and international visitors to live an unforgettable experience, full of knowledge, emotion and opportunities”, said the Brigadier General (R. A), José Henry Pinto Rodríguez, general director of Civil Aeronautics.
For this version, the Colombian Aerospace Force will have the participation of its acrobatic teams: Texan Squadron, symbol of the military training and professionalism of the pilots of this Military Air Institution; Kfir Darts, a sample of experience and Colombian air superiority; the Arpía 51 acrobatic team, unique in the world with AH-60 Black Hawk helicopters.
Likewise, the Special Air Operations Group will demonstrate its discipline, training, precision and bravery to execute search and rescue missions, infiltration and exfiltration, support in combat operations among others, as well as those attending F-AIR 2025 They will enjoy the presentation of the Águila de Gules skydiving team in integration with The Wings of Blue of the United States Air Force, in addition the Brazilian Air Force will participate with the fast F-39 Gripen, which for the first time will fly the sky of eastern Antioquia, and the Viper Demo Team of the United States Air Force will present its impressive show with the maneuvers of the F-16.
Presentations that will demonstrate to national authorities, international delegations, special guests and all those passionate about the aeronautical sector the training, professionalism, commitment, and interoperability of the Colombian Aerospace Force and the military forces of the region.
F-DRONE: the revolution in unmanned aviation
The 2025 edition of F-AIR will also feature a new installment of F-DRONE, a space dedicated to unmanned aviation, which has reached historic milestones as the first official demonstration of cargo transportation with drones in Colombia, under aeronautical standards.
This innovation is a commitment to transform national logistics, allowing the transportation of essential goods to areas that are difficult to access. This is a joint vision between the State, industry and academia, which positions Colombia as a regional leader in unmanned aviation.
F-AIR: symbol of innovation, development and sustainability
The F-AIR will also be the scene of the official launch of the Roadmap for Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), a national strategy that projects production of 100 million gallons in 2035 and 450 million in 2050, as part of the Clean Skies: Aviation for Life program.
This plan seeks to decarbonize the airline sector and promote rural and industrial development in a sustainable manner, with the technical support of entities such as MIT, the World Bank and other actors in the SAF Ecosystem. The roadmap is articulated around five axes: regulation, market, supply chain, technology and financing, and contemplates more than 30 specific actions.
